It has come to our attention that the link to the on-line spirit wear sale that went out in a message yesterday was incorrect and it showed the site was closed. In case that affected anyone trying to order, the on-line store has been reopened and will close at 11:59pm tonight. Immediately below is the correct link.
Winter Spirit Wear Sale
Our Fall / Winter Spirit Wear store is officially open..... we are opening it a little earlier than usual, since supply and demand on some items are taking a little longer than expected and this way if we get the orders in now, we will hopefully have the items in hand in time for the 1st games.....
The Spirit Wear store is open NOW thru midnight, Oct. 31st., again, NO exceptions as that will delay the orders even more than predicted. When ordering, if our wonderful Bulldog supporters see something they like, they just have to click on the item, then in the next screen to the right of the item, there is a drop down that states "Choose Design". This is where they will choose a new Generic Baltic Bulldogs logo, or a mens/womens basketball logo. As they choose their logo option, the image will change so that they know they are ordering the correct logo that they prefer. There are specific items notated on the site that they will take longer to arrive, just so that everyone is aware that those particular items will arrive at a later date.
Thanks again and here's to another successful Spirit wear shopping season......
Estimados estudiantes, padres y personal:
Spirit ...

Dear Students, Parents and Staff,
I would like to congratulate our varsity volleyball players and coaches on an outstanding 18-6 regular season, which earned them the fourth seed in the region, only .05 points behind third seed Madison. The team will now move on to region competition on Tuesday, November 2nd against McCook Central-Montrose at approximately 7:30pm at Baltic. Due to an official shortage, the match may start later than 7:30pm, but it will not start ealier than 7:30pm.
This is a region match, which means it technically is a "state event," so state rules will apply. The cost of admission is $6 for adults and $4 for K-12 students, and activity tickets or conference passes will not be honored, so everyone must pay the price of admission.
Good luck Lady Bulldogs!
Supt. Bob Sittig
Estimados estudiantes, padres y personal:
Me gustaría felicitar a nuestros jugadores y
¡Buena suerte, Lady Bulldogs!
Supt. Bob Sittig

Dear Parents,
Each year, the district convenes a Food Service Advisory Committee (FSAC) that meets with representatives from our Food Service Management Company to address concerns and offer suggestions for program improvement. The FSAC is comprised of students, parents and school staff, and usually meets one time for about an hour. This year's FSAC meeting will be November 9th at 7:00pm via Zoom. If you are willing to serve on the FSAC, please email Business Manager Marsha Polzin at marsha.polzin@k12.sd.us. We recognize November 9th is the date of the volleyball SoDak 16, and if our volleyball team qualifies for the SoDak 16, we will move the FSAC meeting. Let's hope we need to move the FSAC meeting!
Supt. Bob Sittig
Queridos padres,
marsha.polzin@k12.sd.us.
Supt. Bob Sittig

Dear Parents,
To promote two-way communication between the school and parents, we form a Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) that meets 2-3 times throughout the school year. At the PAC meetings, the administration presents information to parents on various topics and gets feedback, and parents have the opportunity to ask questions about topics or concerns of general interest. It should be noted that the PAC meetings are not a time to ask questions or address concerns about specific students or staff.
Parents are asked to serve on the PAC for two years, so each year we have half of the PAC serving their second year and half serving their first year. Of course, if a parent is not interested in serving a second year, we will find a replacement, but the experience must not be too painful as most return for the second year. Please email me at Robert.sittig@k12.sd.us if you are interested in serving on the PAC. We are looking for five new PAC members, and if we have more interest than spots, members will be selected to have a good cross-section of K-12 parents.
The meetings are usually held on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday at 6:30 or 7:00pm and usually last 1.5 hours. Once we have the PAC members set, we will determine the date of the first meeting, which we hope to hold in late October or early November.
Thank you for considering participation on the PAC.
Supt. Bob Sittig
Queridos padres,

Please remember to pick up Krispy Kreme donuts your students sold for the Music Boosters fundraiser tomorrow in the Commons during parent-teacher conferences. There will also be a limited number of boxes of original glazed donuts for sale for $10/dozen, if anyone would like to stop by the tables in the commons to purchase. Thank you for your support of the music program!
Thank you!
Estimados estudiantes y padres,

¡Gracias!

Baltic community and very specifically Fine Arts parents/guardians,
On behalf of the Fine Arts Boosters, Kelley Tschetter, and myself, we want you to be aware that we are putting on a Madrigal Fundraiser the first weekend in December. First, what's a Madrigal? A Renaissance-themed Christmas dinner theatre performance. And we are doing 3 performances: Saturday night at 6pm, Sunday at noon, and Sunday evening at 6. To make this a success, we are going to need your help!
We have 12 main adult singers from the community, but we need a variety of other people to help pull this thing off . If we sell out all three shows, we will need 24 kids to serve the meal. Ideally, if your student is in art, chorus, band, yearbook, or any theatre activity, they would help serve the meal. We will potentially have 32 tables (6 people per table); therefore 24 servers are needed. Your child may be asked to play their instrument or sing as well. If so, they could potentially still serve the meal, but wouldn't need to feel quite as obligated. Could other kids (thinking middle school and up) help serve? Absolutely.
Please let tara.melmer@k12.sd.us know if your child is willing and we will get details out to those participating as soon as possible. Yes, we will "train" them, practice, etc. Not a lot, but enough that they'll feel comfortable with the task.
Not only do we want servers, we want EVERYONE to attend. Keep part of your December 4-5 weekend open!!! Those details will be coming soon!
THANKS!

Hello Baltic 6-12 Families,
