Dear Baltic Elementary,
The 2nd grade classrooms are putting on a Live Animal Museum from 8:45-10:00 AM on Friday, March 6th. We have invited all elementary classes to come view the animals – student’s animal of choice. The 2nd graders will write a script about their animal and recite it as if they are that animal. They are also expected to dress like the animal, create an informational book on their animal, and create a poster with their animal’s name on it. They have been working hard on this project and are excited to share it with an audience.
The only catch is that to make the “animal” come to life and tell facts about the animal, a nickel must be put into their money jar. All proceeds will be given to B-Squad Dog Rescue.
If money is an issue, please let your child’s teacher know and we will cover that. Ideally, you would send nickels to make it easy for teachers to send your child around to each animal and avoid needing to make change. There are 41 animals.
Community members are welcome to come watch too from 8:45-10:00 AM on March 6th.

We are currently gathering interest in the Fall 2026 youth football season for athletes entering Kindergarten through 6th Grade (for the '26-'27 school year).
To help us better understand participation levels, league preferences, and coaching interest, we are asking families to complete a short interest survey using the link below.
