Dear Baltic Families
The Baltic PTO has been working with a local artist on some exciting updates to our elementary playground, and we can’t wait for you to see the finished product! We’re hoping to have everything wrapped up in the next few weeks—but in the meantime, we need your help.
As you visit the playground, please be mindful of any fresh paint and honor any areas marked off with cones or tape. We’ve already had to repaint a few items and would greatly appreciate your cooperation in helping us preserve the work being done.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping us keep the playground safe and looking great for our kids!
Warmly,
Baltic PTO

- High School Boys and Middle School Boys (9:15 am to 10:45 am)

The Big East Conference Tournament games were not calculated in the SoDak Seeding points and after those were calculated into the seed points we dropped below #16 in seed points and are no longer competing in the SoDak 16. Sorry about the confusion. Regardless, great season softball players and we look forward to seeing you compete next season.

Thank you for sharing your children with us!!! Take a moment to see a quick snapshot of the work we have been doing this year and the progress our students have made! We will continue to reflect on how to grow our practice, but in the meantime, help us celebrate some current successes! Please let me know if you have any questions. ~ Mrs. Klein (carrie.klein@k12.sd.us)

Parent Coaching is still available!

When you are ready to think about school starting back up, we have the 25/26 Elementary Supply List ready for you! But in the meantime, enjoy your SUMMER!!!

The Softball Games and Golf Meet in Sioux Valley have been canceled today due to weather.

Congrats to our final Bulldog Bravo award winners this school year!!!

The Big East Track Meet and home softball games have been canceled for Friday, May 16th.

The junior high golf meet scheduled for Friday, May 16th at Chester has been canceled.

The Baltic High School’s Ag Structures Technology class has been busy at work in their new Woods shop facility honing their construction and trades skills. The class is made up of seventeen sophomores and juniors, who have shown an interest in developing hands-on skills as well as learning soft skills, which are needed to advance in high-demand technical occupations.
When the Sioux Falls Humane Society expressed the need for dog shelters, we couldn’t help but feel moved to action. Through the generosity of Dell Rapids Lumber Company, the district was able to purchase materials for a greatly reduced rate and build two large dog houses for donation to the Humane Society. The class’s students researched, designed, estimated, and built the structures as part of an end of quarter project for the class. It was an excellent way for students to put into practice some of the concepts that they have been developing throughout the year.
