Baltic School District

The Baltic School District is hosting the Region 3A One-Act Performances on Tuesday, January 27th.

The attached program has all of the details of the schools that are performing and when.

Please enter through the north high school commons entrance marked Door E if you would like to attend any of the one-act play performances.

BAA meeting postponed until Wednesday, January 28th, at 7 pm at the Baltic Legion.

The Baltic School District will be dismissing at 12:15 on Wednesday, January 21st.

Supper is served! Enjoy a delicious, warm meal of Lasagna or Alfredo hosted by the Fine Arts Boosters on January 27th, when the Bulldogs host McCook Central/Montrose in basketball. Please see the flyer for details.

Baltic Elementary staff are continuing their learning on Standards Based Learning during our inservice day. We look forward to being able to share updates on what this will look like in the coming months!

Please note that the JH BBB game against Centerville has been cancelled. We are working on a makeup date, but don't have one confirmed yet. More information to come if a date is confirmed.

BAA will be having its summer youth baseball and softball meeting on Wednesday, January 21, at 7 pm at the Legion.

I had the boys and girls switched in my previous message. The varsity boys play first at 9:30 am, and the girls' varsity plays at noon. Sorry for the confusion.

The game times were incorrect on Bound for Saturday's games in Madison. They are now correct and should be 9:30 am for Varsity GBB and 12:00 pm for the Varsity BBB game.

Please note that the game start times for the double header high school basketball games in Colman on Friday, January 2nd, are as follows:

4:00 pm JV GBB
5:00 pm JV BBB
6:15 pm Varsity GBB
7:30 pm Varsity BBB

Also, a reminder that the games on Saturday are Varsity only and will be played in Madison.

Activities Update – Weather Adjustments

Due to weather conditions in other parts of the state and the anticipated weather in our area later this evening, the following schedule changes have been made:

Junior High Girls Basketball at Flandreau – Cancelled

High School Wrestling at Flandreau – Cancelled

High School Girls Basketball vs. West Central (Home) – Game times have been moved up one hour. Junior Varsity will begin at 4:30 p.m., with the Varsity game to follow.

Madrigal Postponed for tonight!
Winter is here!
Due to the weather, we are postponing tonight’s Baltic Taste of Christmas Madrigal.
If you purchased tickets for this evening, you have three options:
Attend tomorrow instead.
• Food & show ticket holders may come at 1:00 PM.
• The show in the Performing Arts Center begins at 2:00 PM (doors open at 1:45 PM).
Donate your ticket to support the Baltic Fine Arts program.
Request a refund if you’re unable to attend tomorrow.
