Early Dismissal April 28th/Last Day of School May18

Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,

This is a reminder that school will dismiss at 1:15pm this Wednesday, April 28th for teacher in-service.

In addition, we had two "snow" days this school year where school was called off entirely. Those two days will be made up at the end of the school year with the last day for students now being Tuesday, May 18th with a 1:15pm dismissal on that day.

We started the school year in August with a lot of uncertainty about how having school in a pandemic would go. With a few hiccups along the way, thanks to the cooperation and effort of students, parents and staff, the school year has gone incredibly well. Thanks to all of you for making that happen.

After today, we have 16 school days left in this school year. With the reduced number of COVID cases, some might wonder if we could relax the mitigation strategies designed to reduce the spread of the virus. We believe the lack of transmission here in school is at least partially related to the mitigation strategies, and we intend to continue them through the end of the school year. Let's finish strong and hope next year we can get back to "normal!"

Supt. Bob Sittig

Estimados estudiantes, padres y personal:
