Baltic Schools Christmas Concerts

Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,

The Baltic Elementary Christmas Concert was scheduled for December 3rd, and the Baltic Secondary Christmas Concert was scheduled for December 10th. If you have ever attended one of the Christmas Concerts, you know that social distancing was impossible, and we do not think it would be a safe situation in the time of COVID. After considering several options, we have decided that there will be no in-person Christmas Concerts this year. Instead, we will record (audio and video) students performing their Christmas Concert selections, and the performances will be integrated into a "concert" that will be posted for viewing on the school website. Tentatively, performances will be recorded December 17-18 with the concert posted by December 22. Be looking for more specific information closer to the time. Hopefully, the COVID situation will change so that we can hold in-person spring concerts.

A reminder that school will dismiss at 1:15pm on December 10th for teacher in-service, and school will dismiss at 1:15pm on December 22nd for Christmas Break.

El Concierto de Navidad de Baltic Elementary estaba programado para el 3 de diciembre y el Concierto de Navidad de Baltic Secondary para el 10 de diciembre. Si alguna vez has asistido a uno de los Conciertos de Navidad, sabes que el distanciamiento social era imposible, y no creemos que sea una situación segura en la época del COVID. Después de considerar varias opciones, hemos decidido que este año no habrá Conciertos de Navidad en persona. En su lugar, grabaremos (audio y video) a los estudiantes que interpreten sus selecciones del Concierto de Navidad, y las presentaciones se integrarán en un "concierto" que se publicará para su visualización en el sitio web de la escuela. Tentativamente, las presentaciones se grabarán del 17 al 18 de diciembre y el concierto se publicará antes del 22 de diciembre. Busque información más específica más cercana a la hora. Con suerte, la situación de COVID cambiará para que podamos realizar conciertos de primavera en persona.
