2020 Baltic School and Community Garden
The 2020 the Baltic School and Community Garden season is underway!
A variety of produce has been planted in the garden beds by community members for all of the Baltic community to enjoy and gather produce.
Volunteers, like you, are needed from the school and community to ensure
another successful gardening season.
Please consider signing up for a spot to help water during the growing
months. More information can be found on this link:
Baltic School and Community Garden
Thank you for volunteering to water the Baltic School and Community Garden. The watering time frame will be weekly: Monday through Sunday and usually requires anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours per day of watering, depending upon the weather conditions and per volunteer. You can do this yourself or team up with others. You will be provided watering instructions, a watering map, and the water key. How to get these items: Please contact Chasity Dosch at (605) 759-5766 or Danielle Eszlinger at (605) 212-4125 What to water: The watering area is only for the raised and ground beds of the Vegetable Garden. Watering is best in the early morning or late evening, but not recommended mid-day. Daily water is needed if we have had very hot, dry weather conditions. Typically, every-other-day is suitable. Again, thank you for your time helping with this community project!
