Baltic Elementary Families.

I hope everyone is staying safe out there in this never-ending winter. I am reaching out to all of our families to ask for a favor. As many of you know, our parent drop-off and pick-up line continues to grow. That said, we understand many parents have places they need to get to on either side of drop-off and pick-up.

I am asking all parents to respect the following drop-off/pick-up procedures

  • If you need to get out of your car, please park in a PARKING SPOT and then enter the building. You cannot park along the drop-off line, as that is a fire lane and it slows down cars from safely moving through and dropping their student(s) off.
  • When you pull up to the curb, your child should swiftly exit the vehicle (on the sidewalk side, if possible). Please note, your child can do this at any point if you are along the sidewalk out front. The line will move quicker if we can have multiple students exit at the same time. You do not have to be right in front of the doors.
  • Additionally, please refrain from being on electronic devices or stopping to visit with other parents while in the drop-off/pick-up line. I encourage you to find a different time to engage in either of these activities.

I am hopeful we can all be better with "doing our part" to follow the above criteria and avoid having staff or our School Resource Officer (SRO) outside directing traffic. If we continue to have issues, I will be reaching out to the families directly to address this concern.

If you have any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out.

 Thank you,
