Mrs. Berg’s Fourth Grade News
Recently Mrs. Berg’s class read the story “Coyote School News”. It was about a one-room school in Arizona in the late 1930’s. The students in that school created their own issues of their school’s news. Mrs. Berg’s class created their own news articles about Baltic School. Here are a few examples:

Classic novel brings joy to
Some books are timeless and this is the case with Scott O’ Dell’s Island of the Blue Dolphins that was published in 1960. Many school children have learned about perseverance, strength, and compassion from reading this classic novel. The fifth graders in Mrs. Schneider’s class are in the middle of reading the book and are enjoying it.
